We were a group of 12 of various ages and we had both the main house and the bunk house. both houses are beautiful. the rooms are big and all the spaces are full of surprises like many box games and garden games, great sound systems for the house and the patio, a highly equipped kitchen you do some serious cooking in, DVDs, and even a couple of raincoats which were very helpful. the garden is huge and and also full of surprises- the kids loved the "American ninja" style challenge course. the arts cabin was great, the Bocha court, the rackets and feather ball, the patio with the fire pit overlooking the woods and the lake and in a clear night we could actually see the milky way in the night's sky there. and the lake - it was wonderful! in mid August the water were great (wear some water shoes because the lake floor is either rocky or with weeds). we spent a full day on the lake, swimming and kayaking and having a great time. in a rainy day we enjoyed the indoors very much. communication with Carrie was very easy and helpful. we did see people working on the site, they were all very friendly and nice, we got a nice explanation on the garden herbs and pickings and also got a great nettle cake later from these pickings. To summarize : we had a great time. I wish we had booked for a longer stay.
