OFF-SITE ADVENTURES

Explore the Region

Dragonwood has plenty to do on property, but the surrounding region adds another layer: river walks, waterfalls, Moosehead day trips, breweries, wineries, a local gym, golf, the ice arena, and small-town stops that still feel very much like rural Maine.

Parkman itself is small and historic. Guilford is the easiest nearby town for add-on stops. Some outings are simple self-directed drives, and Carrie can help point your group toward the right mix.

Who You Might Meet

This part of Maine is still largely undeveloped, which is part of the point. Deer in the orchard. Loons at dawn. Eagles overhead. Osprey, owls, foxes, and more if you are here long enough and paying attention.
