Welcome to Dragonwood. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website dragonwood.me (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to your use of the Site itself. Stays, weddings, events, and other bookings at the Dragonwood property are governed by separate booking agreements and house rules provided at the time of reservation.

Using the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe on the rights of Dragonwood or any third party.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, or related systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation, including by using bots, scrapers, or other automated means without our written permission.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, and the overall design — is owned by Dragonwood or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and share the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

Submissions

Any information you submit through a Site form (name, contact details, messages, and any other details you include) is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By submitting content or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use that content to respond to you, improve the Site, and operate our business. Do not submit information you do not have the right to share.

Bookings & Availability

Availability shown on the Site is informational and may change without notice. Submitting an inquiry form is not a reservation. A booking is only confirmed when you receive a written confirmation from Dragonwood and complete any required deposit. Pricing, packages, and menus shown on the Site are subject to change.

The Site may link to third-party websites (such as social media platforms, maps, booking providers, or vendor pages). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those external sites. Visiting them is at your own risk.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dragonwood disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dragonwood and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dragonwood and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maine, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
